


On Tuesday, July 24, 2012, Major-Airman Charles de Hepcée was buried with military honors. Thanks to historical research and DNA analysis, his body was identified in 2012 at the cemetery of Castelmaurou (Haute-Garonne), 68 years after his execution near Toulouse in 1944. His remains were interred in the family tomb in the cemetery of the Château d’Halloy in Ciney.
The French municipality of Castelmaurou had already honored him on Saturday, June 30, 2012.
