On June 16, 2023, Wings Of Memory welcomed German rocket specialist Dr.-Ing. Olaf Przybilski. Thanks to his expertise and through contact with Guy Wattez, he was able to confirm that the recovered rocket was not a V1 – as stated in the official documents – but rather a V2 rocket.
After a brief introduction by Wings Of Memory, Dr. Przybilski gave a captivating explanation of the recovered components and their function within the flying bomb. The visit concluded with a tour of the museum and a pleasant gathering with several invited guests.
